About the Artist
As a painter, Pat was quite the late bloomer. Following her retirement, she began classes in watercolor and it was love at first stroke. Pat has studied with well-known artists Janet Rogers, Charles Reid and Mel Stabin, a wonderful painter and teacher, having the most influence on her work.
Pat has received several local and regional awards and has had solo shows as well as Kindred Spirit exhibits with her friend and colleague Janet Campbell. She is a signature member of the North East Watercolor Society, the New Jersey Water Color Society, Audubon Artists, Inc. and a former elected member of the Salmagundi Club in NYC.
Her watercolors are included in her husband's poetry books.
When not painting or in her gardens, Pat enjoys teaching other painters, sharing her love of watercolor. She and her husband Richard live in the Blue Ridge mountains in North Carolina.
