As a painter, Pat Morgan was quite the late bloomer.  Following her retirement from public schools, she began classes in watercolor and it was love at first stroke. Pat has studied with well-known artists including Richard Ochs, Eli Rosenthal and Mel Stabin. AWS.  Joining the Wallkill River School has now given Pat the opportunity to pursue with other artists her love of plein air painting.

Pat’s work is currently represented by the Wallkill River Gallery, Montgomery, NY.  She has received local and regional awards, most recently received the Award of Excellence at the North East Watercolor Society 2007 Members’ Show and this year had paintings accepted into the North East Watercolor Society 31st International Exhibit and the Hudson Valley Art Association 76th Annual Exhibition. The Quite Moment been accepted into the North East Watercolor Society 32nd International Show.

When not painting or in her gardens, Pat enjoys teaching other painters, sharing her love of watercolor.  She will be teaching a watercolor classes at the Wallkill River School in Montgomery. NY. She lives with her husband in the Hudson Valley region in New York.   pmorgan@hvc.rr.com
